Thank you very much for your interest in the (“How to do an academic presentation” workshop).
Please find below the details:
Time & Location:
It will take a place on Thursday 21st February 2019 in B02 at 1pm. (Please arrive at 12.50, so that it can start on time).
Aim:
The workshop will provide you with training and improve your performance and speaking skills.
Details:
1.The workshop duration will be 3 hours. (1pm – 4pm)
2.Each student has to prepare a powerpoint presentation on their laptops, so they can present a topic to be evaluated.
3.Bring your laptops with you, If you do not have a laptop, please save your presentation on a USB.
Agenda:
1-2pm: Students will give a presentation on their choice of topic.
2-3pm: Advice given about the etiquettes of doing a presentation and the ‘do’s and don’ts of a presentation.
3 -4pm: Students will give a final presentation to see the difference and how much they have progressed.
NB:There will be short breaks in between the sessions and refreshments will be provided.
Please note, be ready to be involved and have a fun and Interesting workshop. All participants will be rewarded with a certificate for their effective participation.
