Summary;
Our age that is known as the age of information has altered the way we receive and interact with information. This panel will examine the concept of information and the impact of modern technology and the parallel developments in communication, culture, economics, politics and the way we think in our age in comparison to past eras.
The panel is expected to address and answer questions such as:
How do we receive and verify information? How do we gauge the credibility of information in terms of its source and the way it was constructed? How can science, information technology, philosophy, critical thinking, media literacy and other fields of pure sciences and humanities help us answer these questions?
