A worldwide competition opportunity for Komar University Engineering Students
As a part of Komar University of Science and Technology cooperation and its mission to bring out students to the area of the worldwide competitions and awards for enhancing them to participate and have international knowledge and skills , Associated Professor Dr. Ako R. Hama civil engineering department’s chairman has coordinated a seminar for the well known international cement company LafargeHolcim in Monday , 4th November 2019 , at 9:30 at the Auditorium Hall in the university.
Students of the civil engineering department as well as the other students from petroleum and computer departments attended the seminar and during the seminar , Mr. Nihat YILDIZ Country Communications Manager of the company presented the seminar on the 6th worldwide LafargeHolcim 2 Million Dollars award and how could our students participate in such competition and the rubric and criteria used in the evaluation of the submitted ideas and projects by the juries and evaluation committees and also he expressed his ambition that during the previous 5th cycle of the competition , there were two participants from Komar University of science and technology out of total submitted 34 in the region of Asia .
