A New Book from KUST Publications
Mr. Balhadia Abdellah one of KUST’s faculty members in College of Business wrote a book about “The Main Pains of the Islamic Financial System” which is theoretical essay and a comparative approach between the conventional finance and Islamic finance on the procyclicality dilemma of the financial systems. The book suggests three Islamic versions of the financial accelerator effect through three different markets in the Islamic Financial System; Partnership contract market, Sukuk market and Organized Tawarruq market. The main pains are the forces that push the Islamic Financial System to be a shock amplifier rather than absorber. The book is printed and published by KUST Publications.
