On Thursday, October 20, 2016, Dr Hiwa gave a presentation about ATCE conference held in Dubai between 26-28 Sep. In his presentation Dr Hiwa provided an insight into SPE and ATCE conference. Thereafter, he focused on the technology advancement that were exhibited by oil/gas companies in the exhibition hall. Smart well operation, intelligent field control and directional drilling were among those technologies highlighted and explained in his presentation.
The last part of his presentation Dr Hiwa was allocated to the oil/gas market update. His prediction was made based on his discussion with companies’ managers and engineers. All indicated that the market has not recovered yet and most of giant oil/gas operators reduced their exploration and development budget plan for the coming year.
