Komar University Hosts Workshop on AI and Future Minds
on Wednesday, November 26, the Department of Computer Science at Komar University of Science and Technology organized an interactive workshop titled “AI and Future Minds: Exploring and Prompting AI Together”. The event brought together educators, researchers, and students for a focused discussion on how artificial intelligence is reshaping creativity, learning, and innovation.
The workshop aimed to improve understanding of how AI tools can support education, inspire creative thinking, and prepare future generations to use technology responsibly and effectively. Participants explored the evolving relationship between human intelligence and artificial intelligence through a series of expert-led sessions.
The program featured three specialized talks covering AI interaction, educational impact, and responsible integration into academic environments. Between sessions, participants enjoyed two live showcases highlighting real-world applications of AI. The first showcase presented creative projects developed by sixth-grade students from the British International School – Sulaymaniyah, demonstrating how young learners can use AI as a tool for imagination and expression. The second showcased an AI-powered animation created by computer science and computer engineering students, illustrating the practical and entertainment potential of AI technologies.
This workshop reflects Komar University’s continued commitment to advancing AI literacy, encouraging innovative use of technology, and strengthening the link between academic learning and real-world application.
