Komar University Hosts Reunion for Previous Generations of Sulaimani University Alumni

Komar University of Science and Technology hosted a special reunion event for Sulaimani University alumni on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. The gathering brought together graduates from different cities and countries to reconnect and celebrate their academic and professional journeys.

The event began with a campus tour led by Professor Dr. Kawis Aziz Faraj, Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs, and Mr. Muhammed Omer, Director of Human Resources and Administration, giving guests an overview of the university’s facilities and achievements. This was followed by a coffee break, where participants enjoyed networking and sharing experiences.

The main ceremony featured a music performance, a Komar University video presentation, and welcoming remarks by Professor Dr. Kawis Aziz Faraj who then delivered an inspiring speech, reflecting on their experiences.

The event concluded with an honoring and recognition segment, where Dr. Salahalddin Saeed Ali, President of Komar University of Science and Technology and Dr. Kawis Aziz Faraj Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs were presented with awards in appreciation of their efforts and contributions to academia and leadership.
