KUST Welcomes Faculty Members to the Fall 2025 Semester
The Quality Assurance Office at KUST hosted a welcoming program to mark the beginning of the Fall 2025 semester. Bringing together all faculty members for an engaging start to the new academic year. The day opened with a welcoming message from Prof. Kawis Faraj, Vice President of Academic Affairs, who highlighted the university’s commitment to excellence and collaboration.
Following the opening, faculty members attended several informative sessions. Mr. Mohammed Omar presented on HR and Administration Policies, while Mr. Bamo Nadir provided key insights on KUST’s OSAR Policy and instructional practices. The program also included a session on Laboratory Guidelines: Challenges and Solutions, delivered by Ms. Shania Khabat. Additionally, Dr. Rawia Tahrir introduced the UNESCO-IIOE platform, highlighting its potential for academic applications.
Also, Mr. Balen Najmaddin presented on Production Unit and Marketing, followed by a closing session where the department’s chairman introduced faculty members, encouraging collaboration and building connections across all departments.
This welcoming program, a part of KUST’s culture at the beginning of each semester, sets a positive tone for Fall 2025 by ensuring faculty members are well-prepared, connected, and aligned with the university’s vision.
