KUST Quality Assurance Office Hosts Faculty Training Sessions for Spring 2025
The Quality Assurance Office at Komar University of Science and Technology (KUST) launched the Spring 2025 semester with a series of impactful training sessions for faculty members. The three-day program, held from January 19 to 21, 2025, was designed to enhance teaching methodologies, professional development, and the overall educational experience at KUST. The sessions, led by esteemed faculty members and experts, covered a variety of critical topics tailored to meet the evolving demands of modern education. The sessions covered Ethical Codes of Conduct for Teachers delivered by Dr. Luqman Siwaely, this session emphasized the importance of upholding integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards in education. Another session delivered by Dr. Muayad Jajo and Dr. Rawia Tahrir titled The Ultimate Survival Kit for Educators in the AI Era explored the integration of artificial intelligence in education and provided practical tools for educators to thrive in a rapidly changing academic landscape. Finally, Dr. Shwan Abdullah facilitated a session titled Delivering Student-Centered Learning Sessions which focused on strategies for fostering active learning environments and placing students at the heart of the educational process.
