Komar University’s Faculty Member Publishes Influential Letter in Science on Protecting Iraq’s Mesopotamian Marshes
Komar University of Science and Technology is proud to announce that Mr. Sarmad Latif, Senior Researcher and faculty member, has published a peer-reviewed Letter in Science, one of the world’s most prestigious and highest-impact scientific journals.
The Letter, titled “Protect Iraq’s Mesopotamian Marshes,” addresses the urgent challenges facing one of the most culturally and ecologically significant wetland systems in the Middle East. With Science carrying an impact factor of 45.8 and a CiteScore of 48.4, this publication positions KUST at the forefront of global discussions on water management, climate impacts, and environmental conservation.
