Computer Science Department Hosts Intensive Workshop to Strengthen Students’ Programming Skills
On April 20, 2025, the Computer Science Department launched a comprehensive three-day workshop on programming concepts, aimed at enriching the foundational knowledge of students.
The workshop ran from Sunday, April 20, through Wednesday, April 23.
The training is specifically tailored for students from the computer science and computer engineering departments and is being led by Dr. Kareem Abbas Dawood, a faculty member from the Department of Computer Science.
The sessions include interactive lectures, practical lab activities, and collaborative problem-solving exercises.
This workshop is part of our ongoing effort to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry expectations.
The computer science department wants our students to be confident in applying programming logic and techniques in real-world situations.
Students participating in the training expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity. It’s an intensive program, but it helps to solidify what we’ve learned in class.“
