Komar University Launches Partnership with Huawei ICT Academy

On March 10, 2024, In an effort towards enhancing its technological education and industry readiness, Komar University of Science and Technology officially launched the Huawei ICT Academy. This significant partnership with Huawei aims to bridge academic learning with real-world ICT industry demands by providing cutting-edge training, certification opportunities, and practical skills development for students.

The academy’s coordination falls under the oversight of Komar Professional Development Center coordinated by Ms. Sara Azad at Komar University, in collaboration with the university’s Computer Science and Computer Engineering departments. Through this initiative, the university anticipates not only an improvement in academic performance and research productivity but also in opening up global certification avenues, rich resources, supporting services, and crucial job opportunities for its students.

Highlighting the event were presentations from Mr. Jamal Noori Ahmed, Public Relations Director at Huawei, Iraq, and Dr. Mardin Abdulla Answer, Head of the ICT Academy Support Center. Each presentation was followed by an interactive Q&A session, allowing for an engaging exchange of ideas and insights between the speakers and the attendees.
