Center of Intensive English Programs conducts Seminar titled “Students before Media Manipulations”

On February 25th, 2024, during the Centre of Intensive English Program’s 2024 Spring event, Mr. Zamo Ali presented a seminar titled “Students Before Media Manipulations”. In his presentation, Mr Zamo emphasized the interplays between self-education and media manipulation. Further, he talked about the manipulations of the media that turn into barriers before self-education. Specifically, three points were focused on during the seminar which were distraction Strategy, focusing on emotions, and promoting ignorance. The seminar concluded with student participation with comments and questions, expressing their opinions on the phenomenon of current misleading media.
