Ramadan and the pharmacists: a charity initiative by KUST students

During the holly month of Ramadan, the department of pharmacy at Komar University of Science and Technology planned and implemented the non-profit charity project “Ramadan and the Pharmacists”. The project was supervised by Dr Naschmil Abdulla and six pharmacy students with the aim to obtain donations from faculties, staff and students at the university to provide support to patients with chronic diseases. Alongside donation, Ramadan and Pharmacist’s project worked in concordance with Pioneer Pharmaceutical Company for further support. Following an agreement between the two parties, an in-kind donation was made by Pioneer Pharmaceutical Company. The in-kind donation of medicines has been delivered to Bakrajo care home for use in their residences.
