KUST Visits Consulate General of India

On the 13th of June 2022, Prof. Dr. Salahalddin Saeed Ali, president of Komar University of Science and Technology, paid a visit to the Consulate General of India, Erbil. The visit was welcomed and honored by the Consul General of India, his Excellency Mr. Subhash C. Kain, Consular Mr. M.V. Sunder and Head of Chancery Mr. Dharmender Kumar. During the discussion, KUST President described KUST and it’s progress as an establishment through the years. In return, the Consul General discussed the various fully funded scholarships that are offered by the Indian Government for faculty and students to upgrade their technical know-how in various fields of science and technology.

After the discussion, KUST president handed over the souvenir from KUST to the Consul General as a token of appreciation for the cordial and fruitful discussion.

In addition, he also invited the Consulate General of India and their team to pay a visit to KUST during the Fall semester 2022 to offer an awareness about various fully funded programs by the Government of India. The visit was accompanied by Asst. Prof. Dr. Noel Vinay Thomas, Chairman, Biomedical Science Department, KUST.
