Vice President for Academic and Students affairs of KUST participated in The Third Excellent Paper Symposium
On February 22nd, 2020, Kscien Organization for Scientific Research held an event in Media Hall in Erbil (Hawler) city under the title (The Third Excellent Paper Symposium). Prof. Dr. Kawis Aziz Faraj the Vice President for Academic and Students affairs of the Komar university participated in this event for selecting ten most excellent papers of Kurdistan region published in 2019.
The first part of the symposium was started by the award ceremony. In this part, the authors of the top ten papers, the youngest researcher, the most active researcher were recognized and rewarded, the vice president of the Komar University presented prizes to the winners.
During the second part of the symposium, the Vice President of Komar University, as the first speaker at the symposium, delivered a speech entitled (The Current State of Scientific Research in Kurdistan). The Vice president highlighted the importance of research especially for Kurdistan region which faces several problems requires extensive research studies, then highlighted the current reality of scientific research in Kurdistan and the obstacles it faces, and ways to overcome these difficulties. The lecture was attended by a large number of researchers and university professors and a large number of university students.
