KUST Faculty is cited in Diplomatic Magazine
Diplomatic Magazine published an analytical report on human trafficking in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and the inflow of unskilled workers into KRI’s market. The author cited our business department faculty member Aram Koky. Aram was quoted “The recruitment companies do not recruit and invite high-skilled workers into our region. The low-skilled international workers, who are working in KRI, are competing with local job seeker on the limited job opportunities, and thus drove down wages” also “There are no transparent rules and regulations in the place that protect both local and international workers in the region, therefore they are easily exploitable and subject to be victimized by human traffickers”.
