KUST Students won the SEAP 2017 Competition
A team of our excellent students of the Petroleum Engineering, Business Administration, and Environmental Engineering departments participated in the Student Innovation Competition on Sustainable Energy 2017, with the project entitled Converting Energy of Flaring Gas to Electricity in the Resource Conservation category. The team leader, Soma Ziyad, members, Pawan Nahro, and Sawan Nasradeen and project supervisor, Dr. Hamid Farangis Zadeh prepared the team for this competition. Their project was selected first in the award ceremony which was held in Hawler on Wednesday, Sep 20th 2017.
Also, a music band formed by our students participated in the award ceremony, their performance was enjoyed by the organizer of the Student Innovation Competition on Sustainable Energy 2017 and the audience.
