On Valentine’s Day, Komar University of Science and Technology in cooperation with Lalezar Cultural Center participates in establishing a library in a newly founded Raz Preparatory School for Girls (Public).
A delegation of KUST students (Former President of Student Council, Mr. Rezhwan Mariwan, Current SC Member, Mr. Shaban Pshtiwan, and an activist student, Ms Khalat Kadhim) visited Raz Preparatory School along with LCC to give them hundreds of significant books to establish their own library to serve their high school students. The aim of the date was to show the core of humanist passion of love to society and books as sources of ethical knowledge.
In return, the school highly appreciated KUST for their role to elect our society to be improved to better especially in educational sector.
Previously, on December, 2018, a project is organized under the title “A School Full of Books”. The aim of the project was to collect various books genre for a newly established high school in Sulaimani City. And as always humanitarian perspectives are highly appreciated by KUST.
