President Visit to The Technical University of Civil Engineering of Bucharest
Dr. Salah Aziz visited one of the oldest civil engineering in Europe
Dr. Salah Aziz visited one of the oldest civil engineering in Europe: The Technical University of Civil Engineering of Bucharest. The University was established in 1888 under the name “the National School for Bridges and Roads”. The engineering programs offer Bachelor, Master and Doctoral degrees in: Civil, Industrial and Agricultural Hydrotechnics, Railways, Roads and Bridges, Building Services, Technological Equipment, and Geodesy.
Dr. Salah inform the Rector of the University Prof. Dr. Eng. Johan Neuner about KUST’ interests in benefiting from the experience of faculties of Civil Engineering and Bridges and Roads in developing KUST similar engineering programs. Professor Neuner welcomed the opportunity of cooperation between both institutes. Dr. Salah toured various departments and met with the deans and directors of the laboratories. The President was combined by Dr. Khamis Zidan the Cultural Attache of the Iraqi Embassy in Bucharest –Roman
