Successful University Day -2015
KUST conducted its University Day 2015 successfully on March 28th, 2015. The Ceremony started with a speech by Dr. Salah welcoming the visitors and briefing about KUST’s progress since 2014. Dr. Yousef Mohammed, President of the Kurdistan Parliament, Dr. Wali Hamad, representative of the Minister of Higher Education and President of Koya University emphasized the importance of higher education in Kurdistan (copy of their speeches are attached.). In addition, high rank officials attended the Ceremony such as the Minister of Shahidan and Anfalkrawan, Mr. Mahmud Salih, Head of Sulaimani Governor Council, Dr. Haval Abubaker, members of Parliament, members of Sulaymani Governor Council, a representative of the Deputy of Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, many governmental and nongovernmental organizations, universities presidents, academics and high school students, parents, and members of the media.
