KUST Junior Students Introduced to Internship Program
On Monday, March 30, 2015, Komar University of Science and Technology (KUST) hosted a seminar for the Student Internship Task Force of the office of Kurdistan Region’s Deputy Prime Minister. The Seminar introduced a new internship program that is overseen by the task force.
The Internship program trains students to compete in the job market, and provides a pool of project-based internship positions from major businesses, and NGOs in Kurdistan for students to apply for.
Alongside our own internship program that shares the same approach, our University is one of 10 universities in Kurdistan that are participating in this program. KUST is committed to a world-standard education that is responsive to the growing needs for professionals in the job market. We are confident that our students’ skills, knowledge and work ethics will give them an edge as they enter Kurdistan’s job market.
