KRG Representatives Visited KUST
In the belief that “experience is the best teacher”, KRG offers 12 weeks intern-ships to students who have reached 3rd stage.
Consultants Ms. Lawzha Jalal and Ms.Dilan Akrawi at Mr. Qubad Talabani’s office, Deputy Prime Minister of KRG, visited KUST on Sunday, November 9, 2014 to discuss the program with a team from KUST ( Ms. Kner Abdullah, Director of Office of Public Affairs; Dr. Nyaz Najmaddin, Faculty Member with Mr. Twana Tahir, Representative of Faculty Members).
The program is collaboration between KRG and companies to help students enhance their abilities.
The students will apply for the program in the coming weeks. The qualified candidates will be supervising by two supervisors; one is internal and the other is external. The students will be chosen by a Sulaimani-based company. The schedule is flexible, but the intern-ships require a time commitment of 16-20 hours a week.
Decision makers and faculty members at KUST are happy to help you in getting a place at a company to practice and apply what you have learnt throughout your study. If everything is going well, the programme will be launched in late January 2015.
