International Women`s Day Celebration
KUST conducted a small ceremony on International Women’s Day which coincided with the Kurdish uprising in 1991. The ceremony was attended by faculty members, staff, and students. Everyone wore traditional Kurdish dress and gave roses to women. The purpose of today’s ceremony was to celebrate the role of women in society and to promote gender equality.
