Center of Intensive English Programs conducts “Student-centeredness for Students” Seminar
On February 25th, 2024, the Centre of Intensive English Programs held a seminar for their students titled “Student-centeredness for Students”. The seminar was presented by Mr. Aram Namdar, an English instructor at the center. The aim of the seminar was to make students aware of the role of students in the process of learning. Contrary to the traditional teacher-centered classes, current advanced institutions, schools, and universities try to shed light on the role and the responsibilities of the students, and lead students towards higher-order learning. In this seminar, Mr Aram tried to define some basics of student-centeredness for the students and explain roles and responsibilities students have when they enter the classroom. The seminar concluded with questions and answers from students making the topic even more interesting to the attendees.
