Komar University of Science and Technology Welcomes New Students

On December 12, 2023, a festive gathering was organized by Komar University of Science and Technology to welcome its new cohort of newly admitted students. The ceremony started with a word of welcome by both Professor Dr. Salahalddin Saeed Ali, the President, and Professor Dr. Kawis Aziz Faraj, Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs. In their speeches, both stressed the importance of hard work and academic involvement for the newly admitted students to be able to successfully function in the university environment.

In a presentation, Mr. Bamo Nadir, Director of the Office of Student Affairs and Registration explained the different online systems that are currently used by students of Komar University. Following this, Dr. Karzan Aziz, Director of the Center of Intensive English Programs gave a presentation in which he explained the necessary processes students need to go through to be able to successfully join their academic programs.

The welcome ceremony continued with department chairpersons welcoming their students and introducing their departments and faculty members. The students eagerly anticipated enriching experiences at their departments.
