Komar University of Science and Technology Hosts 5th International Conference on Buildings, Construction, and Environmental Engineering
On November 21st and 22nd, 2023 the 5th International Conference on Buildings, Construction, and Environmental Engineering was successfully held at Komar University of Science and Technology, a partnership with the University of Technology, Iraq and the University of Jordan. This esteemed occasion brought together experts, researchers, and academics from around the world on the premises of Komar University.
Dr. Salahalddin Saeed Ali, President of Komar University of Science and Technology, gave an opening statement to the conference, which set the stage for two days of thought-provoking talks and information sharing. Representative to Prof. Dr. Ahmed M. H. Abdul Kadhim Al-Ghaban, speaking on behalf of the University of Technology Iraq, gave a speech in which he emphasized the value of teamwork in improving the architectural, construction, and environmental engineering sectors. With his insightful comments, Prof. Dr. Hasan Hamodi Joni, chair of the organizing committee also gave a speech in which he enhanced the mood even more.
Prominent keynote speakers at the conference included Dr. Ahmed A. Gheni from Komar University of Science and Technology, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Yousif Fattah from the University of Technology, Iraq, and Prof. Dr. Hassan Al Nageim from Liverpool John Moores University, UK. All the keynote speakers contributed their knowledge and provided insightful commentary on current issues and emerging trends in the industry.
