Komar University’s KPDI Hosts an Event for Students
On November 16, 2023, the Komar Professional Development Institute (KPDI) conducted an educational and fun event for its students. There were two segments to the event, one with educational activities and the other with entertainment. The units of accounting, OSAR, and human resources gave the students an overview of their respective departments’ roles at the university in the first section. Afterwards, students gave a number of seminars covering various subjects.
After this segment, there was a musical intermission during which gifted KPDI students played a variety of musical pieces, creating an engaging environment.
Dr. Sherko Jawdat presented a seminar on the Human Capacity Investment after the musical intermission, highlighting Komar University’s distinction and value in developing professionals who can serve the community and be part of a bright future.
Subsequently, Mr. Zamo, a KUST English Language instructor, presented on University Mindset, challenging students to think differently and illustrating the difficulties in adjusting to changes and the university setting.
The academic portion concluded with a panel discussion featuring three recent KDPI alumni who discussed their experiences and offered astute and original solutions for utilizing the potential that English courses like those that KPDI offers.
An entertainment event including charity sales, exhibitions, and a photo session took place at the E-Building in the afternoon.
