KUST’s English Department conducts workshop for staff and students

On May 4, 2023 the department of English Language and Literature conducted a workshop titled “Self-Marketing Skills” for staff and students. The workshop was attended by the University’s Vice President, Dr. Kawis Aziz and faculty members from different departments. The workshop was divided into two parts; in the first part of the workshop, the students of the English department did three presentations covering the topics of writing CVs, cover letters and job interviews. In the second part of the workshop, Mr. Mohammed Omer, the Director of Human Resources and Administration at KUST, gave a presentation in which he reflected on his personal professional journey, talking about different experiences he had during his career. He also provided students with tips and strategies on how to find good jobs after graduation.
