A seminar titled “The role of individuals in protecting human rights”

Anya Organization with KUST held a seminar on Thursday Dec 23, 2021 under the title “The role of individuals in protecting human rights”. The event started with a welcoming speech by Prof. Dr. Kawis Faraj the vice president for academic affairs, in which he shed light on the history and importance of human rights organizations in Kurdistan Region (KR).

Thereafter a brief speech was given by Ms. Bayan Ibrahim the head of Anya organization, she focused on the role of her organization in disseminating information and awareness on human rights in our society.

A detailed presentation on human rights concept, history, governmental obligation, report, etc. was given by Mr. Zito Siyani the officer of human right at UNAMI in KR. His seminar is well received and followed by Q&A.
