KUST students participated in Earthquake Risk Mitigation Makeathon

On Saturday 29/5/2021, A group of students from Civil Engineering Department participated in an Earthquake risk mitigation makeathon. The competition focused on four different types of buildings in Sulaymaniyah. KUST students were divided onto two groups, one who won the first place for the most applicable technique in earthquake risk mitigation and the other group won the second place for a different and new way in earthquake risk mitigation.
