A Seminar on Application of Remote Sensing in Civil Engineering

On Tuesday March 9th, 2021, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ako Rashed presented his research work in the field of Remote Sensing. In his seminar, Dr. Ako presented the basics of remote sensing from data acquisition to interpretation for civil engineering purposes. His research work covered the study of water contamination in Dukan Lake and Population Density and Noises within the major cities of the Kurdistan Region using remote sensing. The seminar tackled many key issues related to the field of Remote Sensing and was well received by the audience. Conclusively, the weight of the subject has been reflected by the immense participation in discussion from the participants.
