On May 5th, A seminar on “Human Resource Management in the Age of Disruption” were presented by an International Professional Trainer Mr. Muhamad Fahd Kkan. Mr. Khan was mainly focusing on the challenges that are facing employees especially in Middle East and how the corporates and institutions could tackle such problems and to keep their skilled employees for longer period. To be able to maintain yourself as a professional, continuous learning and development is a necessity. For organizations on the other hand this demands flexibility. Furthermore, he mentioned that HR has a critical role to play in this rapidly changing and disrupted world. There is a need to redesign HR function and introduce new competencies to support business and increase people engagement. Embrace new technology and develop new team structures to deliver the results. Maintain transparency and lead with purposeful and meaningful contribution. At the end, the Q&A session was arranged and the presenter answered the audience’s questions.
