KUST participates in a MHE’s workshop
On January 9th 2019, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research held a workshop for all presidents and Vice-presidents of KRG Universities on Pedagogical Reform under the direct supervision of his Excellency Minister Dr. Yusuf Goran. The workshop took place in Erbil and began with the statement of Minister. Also, Prof. Dr. Salahalddin Saeed (President of Komar University) attended the workshop. Mr. Twana A. Tahir (Director of Quality Assurance and Accreditation Office) has represented Komar University by presenting a topic in the first panel on “The current challenges of KRG University’s graduates after graduation”. He was mainly focusing on the current status of unemployment among the majority of the graduates and what are the main reasons behind it and how we can get benefit from Pedagogical reform happened in a country like Finland.
After this session, eight different modules were presented by other presenters from different KRG Universities. The main areas were:

· Innovative Pedagogical Method
· Competence Based Curriculum
· Entrepreneurship and Innovation
· University Business cooperation
