Komar University hosts Internship certificates to the companies
On Thursday, July 26, 2018, the CDC- Career Development Center at Komar University of Science and Technology hosted its first event of handing out Internship certificates to the companies and Interns who have successfully completed their KRG Internship program. CDC partnered with 16 companies in Sulaimani to provide on-the-job training to 63 students last summer. The ceremony featured a speech by the President of Komar University, Dr. Salahalddin Saeed. Dr. Salahalddin Saeed presented the Certificates of Appreciation to the companies that participated and provided placements for KUST’s summer internship program. The successful Interns were presented with KRG certificates by the delegates of the companies. The Internship Program is a formal assignment on an area related to the curriculum and involving out-of-class activities and development. It is primarily a learning activity designed to provide students with an opportunity to confirm that they are eligible for a real-work environment.
