Summary
Komar University of Science and Technology (KUST) in Sulaymaniyah was founded and licensed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, according to the Kurdistan Region Government’s official letter No. 17867/7 on October 18, 2009. KUST is a private university governed by a Board of Trustees and administered by its University Council. Its main campus is located in the city of Sulaymaniyah, in Kurdistan, Iraq. We are currently at an exciting stage of our development. We are looking forward to hiring a professional academic to join our community and contribute to the success and growth of the college of Business and to the education and training of its students.
The Department of Accounting invites applicants in the areas of Accounting and finance Majors Banking and Finance Management are more preferable. Holders of Master’s degree and above can apply for the position. The work duties mainly involve teaching, and research.
Promotion
During the period of employment, faculty can apply for appointment to a permanent position as assistant lecturer, lecturer, or assistant prof. according to his/her qualifications
Responsibilities
Candidates are expected to:
– Teaching and supervision at graduate and undergraduate levels.
– Conduct research individually. And present the results of his/her research at the University level towards the end of his/her stay.
– Actively participate in the academic activities of the college/university.
– Develop contacts with external academia inside and outside of Kurdistan Region
Contribute in efforts to attract external funding.
Experience
Teaching Experience: Minimum 3 years
Publications/Research: list of publications.
Qualifications:
Degree: PhD or master holder in (Accounting and Finance )
Scientific Title: (Assistant professor, Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer).
Language : Very good skills in English(written and spoken)
