BOT Chairman Is Invited to Garmian University
On December 17, 2017, The BOT Chairman of KUST, Assistant Professor Dr. Dara M. Jamil was invited to participate in a scientific workshop on “Cancer, the Era disease” held at Garmian University. Dr Jamil presented a seminar under the title “The Cancer and Carcinogens in Foods” during which several alarmed questions on carcinogens in foods made by the attendants were answered. After the seminar, accompanied by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sirwan H. Salih, Acting President of Garmian University and his chairpersons, Dr. Jamil took a tour in the research center laboratories and engaged in a scholar conversation with the researchers directing to build up a scientific cooperation between the two universities in near future.
