Komar University Hosts Hiwa Hospital for a Seminar
On Wednesday, May 25th, 2016, Komar University of Science and Technology hosted Hiwa Hospital for making a seminar about its great service for those patients who have cancer.
Hiwa hospital representatives gave a brief about the history of Hiwa hospital, and presented some introductory information about cancer. They showed some crucial data which were related to the numbers of infected people in the world and in Kurdistan Region specifically. Also they showed the cost of treatment annually for each individual based on different types of cancer.
Part of the seminar was about giving a day to serve in Hiwa hospital voluntarily, so as usual many numbers of KUST students emphasis on their readiness for community service and especially Hiwa Hospital voluntarily.
