Gender Equality at KUST
Since its inception, Komar University has remained steadfast in its commitment to gender equality across all facets of its organizational structure. This commitment is exemplified through the deliberate inclusion of women in various leadership positions, irrespective of job roles. Notably, the university has appointed a female Vice President for Student Affairs and a female Consultant to the President for Administration, among others. The culture at KUST underscores the belief that both men and women possess the capability to significantly contribute to the advancement and prestige of the institution through diverse endeavors. Consequently, gender considerations are deemphasized during the candidate selection process for all university positions. This approach is reflected in the composition of the administrative staff for the academic year 2023-2024, where gender parity is evident. Specifically, the staff makeup includes one Consultant, one Director, one Junior Coordinator, and six Coordinators, demonstrating the university’s unwavering dedication to fostering an inclusive and equitable environment.
