Komar University Student Excels in Harvard Cell Biology Course
Sumayah H. Mousa, a senior student from Komar University’s Department of Medical Laboratory Science, has achieved remarkable success in a prestigious course on Cell Biology. Selected from a pool of 400 applicants, Sumayah was one of only five students from Kurdistan chosen to participate in the four-month course offered by Sciencepur in collaboration with Harvard University.
The course delved into intricate topics such as cell membrane organization, cell signaling, and cytoskeleton dynamics. Sumayah’s dedication and diligence saw her not only complete the course successfully but also excel, earning commendation from instructors and peers alike.
Among approximately 95 participants from across the globe, Sumayah’s exceptional performance stood out, earning her a certificate of completion. Additionally, she received two prestigious awards: one for being an early bird enrollee and another for her pioneering participation.
Sumayah’s achievement not only reflects her academic prowess but also brings honor to Komar University, as she was the sole representative from the institution in this elite program. Her success serves as an inspiration to fellow students and underscores Komar University’s commitment to academic excellence and global engagement.
