Komar University of Science and Technology has been recognized as a member of the United Nations Academic Impact, following a rigorous six-week review of the university’s profile submitted by Dr. Twana Abdulrazaq, in charge of the university’s Quality Assurance Unit. This prestigious recognition highlights KUST’s commitment to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and its role in fostering global educational and environmental progress.
The university’s efforts towards sustainability are exemplified through the formation of its Sustainable Development Committee. This committee has been instrumental in implementing initiatives such as waste management, water conservation, sustainable learning environments, and energy use management.
