Komar University of Science and Technology Establishes Collaboration with the Asian Institute of Technology

September 5, 2023, and February 15, 2024, Komar University of Science and Technology (KUST) established a significant partnership with the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand, aimed at enhancing higher education opportunities for its graduates. This collaboration was finalized under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Kawis Aziz Faraj, Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs and a dedicated team comprising Dr. Noel Vinay Thomas, Dr. Mustafa Hassan, and Dr. Muayad Jajo. AIT, recognized as one of Asia’s most prestigious universities with a world ranking of 201–300, will offer scholarships to KUST graduates for Master’s degrees in Biomedical Science and Business Administration.

This initiative marks a milestone in KUST’s efforts to provide its graduates with access to advanced education and professional growth opportunities. The scholarships aim to support students financially, enabling them to pursue their studies at an international institution known for its academic excellence. Dr. Ahmed Gheni’s support was pivotal in realizing this partnership, which promises to open new avenues for KUST graduates to enhance their personal and professional development.
