Center of Intensive English Programs conducts ESA training for their instructors

On Thursday, May 4, 2023, the Centre of Intensive English Program (CIEP) at Komar University of Science and Technology conducted a successful pedagogical training entitled “Revisiting the Teaching Theories, Methods & Techniques”. The training put in emphasis on revisiting common teaching methodologies and later focused on ESA (Engage, Study & Activate) methodology by way of applying it to the four English language skills in four micro-teaching lessons. The training aimed at reviewing old theories, methods, and techniques, then applying ESA to teaching skills and sub-skills taught at the center, and finally identifying ESA adaptation opportunities and its challenges.
