KUST’s Dentistry Department organizes a seminar on Schizophrenia

Komar University’s Department of Dentistry holds a seminar on Schizophrenia on November 3, 2022. The seminar was delivered by Dr. Koyar Sherko, a psychiatrist and a medical board candidate in psychiatry. In the seminar, Dr. Koyar focused on Causes, Symptoms and Treatments of the disorder explaining the subject in detail. The seminar was attended by faculty members, students and guests of KUST during which they had questions and discussions about the topic. Moreover, the explanations and different treatment methods for schizophrenia were explained, too.

Schizophrenia is known to be one of the most serious and mysterious mental disorders that makes people see reality eccentrically. The diagnostic symptoms are crucial to determine schizophrenia and correctly prescribe treatments.
