KUST receives a group of schools from Slemani

On December 11, 2022 Komar University of Science and Technology invited a group of school principals and representatives from Slemani. The school representatives were welcomed by Professor Dr. Kawis Aziz Faraj, Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs. The purpose of the visit was to strengthen the relationship between the university and the high schools. During the meeting, Mr. Balen Najmalddin, from Marketing Unit gave a brief presentation about Komar University, its departments and facilities. Following his presentation, Dr. Ahmed Gheni, the Director of International Affairs, briefed the guests on the study programs and academic activities of Komar University of Science and Technology. Later, Mr. Kochar Ali Saeed, the Coordinator of the English Department, gave the guests a presentation about the Rise Program, a program that takes high school students to the US for a period of three weeks. The schools are set to send 10 of their students to be mentored by KUST faculties during their application process. The meeting ended with a tour through KUST facilities including classes and laboratories.
