KUST’s English Department students organize a film festival

On Wednesday, December 21, 2022 the English department students organized a film festival as part of their academic activities in their Film Studies course. The festival was organized and supervised by Ms. Kizhan Salar Abdulqadir, a faculty member at the Department of English Language and Literature, and Dr. Muayad Jajo, the chairperson of the department. During the festival a total of 15 short films were shown, which were directed and produced by the students. Each of the films contained a theme and a message related to the lives of youths. The event was attended and widely welcomed by a large number of students and faculty. At the end of the festival the audience rated each film to nominate the best 5 films.
