KUST signs memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Bakhshin Hospital

On December 1, 2022, a delegation from Bakhshin Hospital visited Komar University of Science and
Technology (KUST). The delegation was headed by Dr. Rebwar Hassan Khidir, the manager of Bakhshin
Hospital accompanied by heads of different units from the hospital. The delegation was received and
welcomed by Prof. Dr. Kawis Aziz Faraj, the Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs. In the
meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Komar University of Science and
Technology and the hospital. The aim of the MOU is to establish further collaborations and fostering
new avenues for research collaboration and effective means of improving the quality of medical services
in general in the Kurdistan Region. The terms of the MOU include joint scientific activities, student
training, awareness campaigns and conducting research. Future collaborations will include all branches
of the hospital in different cities and Komar university.
