French Embassy visits KUST

On Monday 21/11/2022, Ms. Alexandra Duchêne the Attaché for Education & French Language at the French Embassy in Iraq visited Komar University of Science and technology. Ms. Duchêne was received by Dr. Salahalddin Saeed Ali, President of Komar University of Science and Technology, Dr. Kawis Faraj, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Muayad Jajo, Chairman of the English Department, Mr. Twana, the Director of Quality Assurance, Dr. Mansour Tayfuri, French language instructor at KUST, and Dr. Ahmed Gheni, the Director of International Relations. The purpose of this visit was to explore the university and start different forms of collaboration including supporting the French language program offered to English Department students as part of the foreign language program at KUST, as well as other cultural and educational activities. In their meeting, Dr. Salahalddin provided a thorough explanation about the system and potential of Komar University, and both parties agreed on continued collaboration and expanding it to cover many other areas.
