Iraqi Council of Accreditation for Engineering Education (ICAEE) visited Komar University
On Thursday (November 4th 2021), a team from Iraqi Council of Accreditation for Engineering Education (ICAEE) visited Komar University. The team consists of Prof. Dr. Zeyad S. M. Khaled/ ICAEE Chair, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali N. Attiya and Prof. Dr. Jalal M. Jalil/ ICAEE Members. The team was received by Mr. President (Prof. Salah Saeed) and then started the agenda by presenting three presentations as follow:
- A Glance on the Iraqi Council of Accreditation for Engineering Education by Prof. Zeyad.
- Outcomes-based education and Accreditation Criteria by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali.
- Outcomes Assessment Keynotes by Prof. Dr. Jalal
The sessions were ended by a scientific discussion with the audience and sharing real examples. The team was appreciating KUST for an outstanding performance in terms of Quality of Education based on International Agency’s requirement. Then the tour was organized to all the laboratory sessions inside the campus. It is worth mentioning that the further collaboration between ICAEE and KUST were emphasized by both sides.
