A Workshop on “Small Businesses in Kurdistan; The Challenges & Opportunities”

In collaboration with Tishk University, panelists from different fields contributed to the comprehension of the main challenges and opportunities that we currently face in KRG.

The speakers of the workshop were; Dr. Ahmet in the field of operations/marketing, Dr. Taylan in the field of leadership and internal panelist Dr. Mustafa in the field of e-banking, Dr. Dlawar in the field of finance & accounting and Mr. Pakzad (facilitator) in the field of Marketing.

Starting and growing a small business can be extremely challenging. As a business owner, you have to overcome multiple roadblocks to succeed. Money management, fatigue, hiring the right employees, balancing quality and growth, are just a few of the many things that could make your business standstill if you fail to make the right decisions.

The speakers elaborated comprehensively on the challenges and opportunities from different lenses or angles from a small business context.
